I'm leaving for Madrid after deciding to make this trip three weeks ago. I was driving home from visiting my sister and had a flash of insight. I needed to travel....now. So I'm starting off in Madrid with a hostel room for one night, a Eurail pass, two guidebooks (Spain and Europe Through the Backdoor), and a thirst for adventure. I'm traveling by myself and taking my first real vacation, with actual stamps on my passport. I'm not sure where I'll go, but I'm willing to find out...
